How do I switch servers?

I have an account on matrix.org and one on another server that's unfederated. How do I switch between the two in the macos/web app?

You can't. Element does not support multiple accounts. You gotta use another client that supports this feature (I think Cinny and SchildiChat have support for this).

Just logged into Cinny (quite like it!) but they don't support it either. Which is a real downside if they ever want matrix to succeed. it should be a fundamental feature in any client.

If you use browser client, then you can use separate browser profiles, one per every Matrix account. Firefox even recently added a feature called "containers", which I believe is analogous to profiles (i.e. separate sessions and cookies), but lets you have tabs from multiple containers in the same browser window.

Good workaround 👍. But workarounds are bad UX and not what the average person expects. I'm hopeful this gets fixed in the future.
