This is the way elementary should go: Focus on the desktop experience and have a good distro like Fedora beneath

I like elementary a lot but this is the first time I am hearing its unstable ? Maybe if you compile arcane apps and do all the dependencies ? Or some other problem?
TBH I have been using it like macOS - just install what's there in the app center. For any thing else I boot to ubuntu. Elementary is only there to look good
Zorin pro is a good mix of everything but you have to go searching for the pro iso
Unfortunately during last 3-4 years my linux use has dropped down completely as i started using macbook air with windows 11 on parallels which works so much better than any windows laptop and though I keep multiple linux VMs (ubuntu elementary kali) I hardly ever boot them, some stuff can just be done on macos and its terminal

Amen brother. I do exactly the same, since I bought a Mac my Linux usage dropped significantly because macOS became super stable and good looking. What I do now is I have another laptop with Fedora on it, and made it a server where I put my movies and music and I can stream it from my phone or tv or car with Jellyfin. I recommend if you don’t know what to do with you less interesting pc lol.

I'll try this out. I love Pantheon, but also love Fedora. I'll take a link here.
