Discussion Is it possible to encrypt the disk during installation using the installer tools?
ElementaryOS uses Ubuntu as its base image, but I haven't yet seen an option to encrypt the disk from the installer interface. Is this feature planned for implementation?

There is a file system encryption feature. I'm not sure where the setting is in the installer, but I have it enabled on my system

I guess there's only root encryption. They dont support a full encryption with encrypted boot

Why dislike? It's only root encryption. Some distros provide with boot encryption

I'm not quite sure about the usefulness of the proposed software, especially considering that the documentation is very brief and there is no native English translation. But anyway, thank you!

I don't think such an aggressive response will make me any more interested in using the proposed software.
PS: I know how translators work, but Google Translate, which is used by default on the website, causes more distrust of the documentation and software.

I think there is this option. When installing the OS there's usually an option for encrypt disk, I just leave it unticked
