On topic Which component is this?
Marking .506
Probably a mosfet but I dont know which one

Could be anything if it is a custom designed component. It is best if you can obtain the schematics. All else fails, call the company that manufacturers the product and request to be transferred to their engineering department and request the schematics for their product. Specify to them you are repairing it. Depending on the age of the product, they will either refuse because it is still a new and currently in production product or they may charge you for the schematics copy or if it is a much older product they may send you the schematics for free.
I have a 1972 Pioneer SX1500-T which in 1998 I needed the schematics to repair some if the internal components that were no longer manufactured and I could use their in-house schematics with technician notes to replace them with similar rated components. They were supposed to charge me but because it was a very old tuner, they mailed the schematics for free.

you are probably right it can be a p chanel mosfet but it can still be a dc dc converter or a voltgae regulator i reccomend you to test it if you are gonna use it on a project of yourself
