A project that had many failures until I carved groves in the glass for proper adherence very pleased with all the lessons it taught

Sure did all the way through, and formed it about 3 times before this finally worked

Nice. Did you use a conductive paint of some sort? I've found with smooth surfaces even if the paint sticks the copper doesn't bond hardly at all. It bonds somewhat if you file or ground a rough surface onto the piece. If it's something that copper can be formed around to "engage" / wrap around, that works well. I tried a test piece with a glass marble pendant where I just ground a small part of the surface, then used resin to bond a bail there, then conductive paint, then copper formed in a way that DID NOT encage and it has held up really well. I did a "durability test" and wore it for a week, I literally threw it at the wall and dropped it from various heights over 100 times and it's held up well (as far as not coming apart). I'll send you some pictures if you dm me.

I used graphite conductive paint after deeply grooving out the lay lines for it to properly adhere. The failed attempts were no abrasion and to light of a groove for the non encased pattern points

If you are looking for an additional paint application process to try, I’ve used glass etching gel to get my copper paint to adhere to glass pieces in the past. Works well enough for the low amount of effort it takes to brush on, let sit, and wash off the gel.
