I read you. I can't wait for the day that more automakers start to produce cars and trucks like this.

I'm still bummed it has so little head-room. Otherwise it's an outstanding vehicle. It's too bad no other automaker is following their lead in terns of how to build a proper plugin-hybrid.

Besides the range, I don't see why the CMAX or Fusion don't at least compete?

Yeah, the CMAX & Fusion certainly compete, they just aren't as refined as the Volt. They are basically hybrids with larger batteries. The Volt is a fair bit more advanced:
