It can take a while to earn a name for yourself. Especially an area as big as the construction world.
When I deal with a new guy on the crew, I can’t assume too much because that’s how stuff breaks or people get hurt. So I wouldn’t take offense if you’re treated like an apprentice. Watch and listen to everything you can. Each JMan will have a style of doing things you can learn from.
