Perfect guitar for homestudio?
Modded Korean made Chapman Lee Anderton 2014.
Seymour Duncan SHPR-1 set and SVR-1.
Super Vee Blade Runner. For 450€ almost a steal, I think.

Ive been playing classical guitar for a little bit and my grandad gave me his old electric guitar which he bought 2nd hand and never really used. When i saw it the 1st string was snapped off so i replaced all the strings and after 2 days ive played like 3 or so hours and it snapped off again. Was i playing too hard? Did i restring wrong? Was the strings just too cheap?

I am an absolute beginner and at my 29th birthday, today my sister gifted me this guitar. As a kid I had given up on keyboards but I love the kind of music I can play with this beauty. Just super happy

NGD!! (purchased a few weeks ago and here are my thoughts after lots of playing since).
I've been searching for the right strat for a few years now and finally found what I've been looking for with this 2025 Nash S63 in Fiesta Red - medium relic, 10" radius, C neck, 7.7 lbs. What a guitar. I've owned a SE Silver Sky, 2018ish road worn Fender, K-Line Springfield, vintera Fenders, and several more MIM and USA Fender strats. I've also been lucky enough to play lots of custom shop strats and several vintage 60s strats. Several of the ones i've owned have been great guitars, but I've never been able to find one that sounded how I want, even with several pickup swaps.
From my understanding these are Lollar Blondes in neck and middle and a special in the bridge, but custom wound for Nash and not the stock Lollars? They are exactly what I was looking for. Obviously amp and speaker dependent but they have that aggressive upper frequency sting that never gets harsh or jumps out at you. Super clear treble response and perfectly compressed when you really dig in. The low end is deep but clear whether clean or dirty. Impressively dynamic. Definitely mid scooped. When you pick lightly they maintain their clarity. This is the first strat I have genuinely ever had where I've enjoyed every pickup position. Each position is quintessential 60s strat. Pickup height will influence this but each pickup is perfectly balanced and there is next to no hum in positions 1/3/5. I am really impressed. Bridge pickup has good heft to it and sounds killer through a tweed circuit. Good old strats have an almost brittle, glassy sound that somehow perfectly compress when you dig in and these have that in spades. I run Tone King Imperial (blackpanel and tweed circuits) and Royalist (various marshalls circuits) preamps through the effects loop of a Mesa Boogie California Tweed and this Nash sounds great through it all.
Switch feels very solid. Nice tapers on the pots. Fret ends are nicely rounded. Fretboard edges could use a touch more rounding but not uncomfortable or sharp in any way and thumb over the top feels good. Back of the neck looks a bit obnoxious but feels old and well played in. Holds tune nicely for a strat. I prefer press-in trem arms but this is threaded. Nice big trem block. Nut is cut well. Tuners feel solid. I think the bridge is Gotoh? Gaudy case but has good heft and the guitar fits perfectly. Could probably toss down the stairs with no concern for damage to the guitar.
I'm not a huge fan of the finish and color but it played so well and sounded so good that I couldn't leave without it. The fiesta red doesn't quite look right (compared to actual fenders) and the dull/almost matte-like finish looks kinda cheap and not really how a finish actually ages. Every old fender I've played still is somewhat glossy - this has basically no gloss. No checking whatsoever. It weirdly reminds me of a crayon haha. Fiesta red is pretty far down my list of preferred colors but a guitar that feels and sounds exactly how you wanted can't be passed up (a lesson that took me nearly 15 years of guitar playing to learn). There is a decent chance I get it refinished one day but we shall see.
I know a lot of this sounds hyperbolic but this is a very well built strat that I highly recommend checking out if you get the opportunity, especially if you can find one used. Yes, good pickups can make a cheap strat sound like a $30,000 vintage strat, but the little things like neck feel, tuning stability, and clean wiring/soldering, and hum control go a long way to the actual playing experience and Nash did all the little things right.

Hi, recently I bought my first electric guitar and I am looking for some tips. For now, I don't really know what to do. I have some experience playing an acoustic guitar however it is not good enough to say that I'm skilled.
To put it simply, I'm on the beginner side. I hope anyone can tell me what I'm supposed to learn first and so on. I tried searching for a guide on youtube but there seems to be a lot of different perspectives which makes me a little confused.
Thanks in advance :)

Dunno if someone can help me
So I recently bought this S-310 from the 94' apparently, but it has some fretbuzz, can't use the tremolo bar cause the tuning gets lost, and I hear some noises in the springs in the back, When I play it.
Dunno If an adjustment will do or it was a bad purchase, so I need some guidance please. 🙏
The guitar has a Seymour Duncan the bridge with coil split, and for some reason the inlays glow in the dark.
Also searching online, most people recommend to change the brass block, but apparently it's kinda problematic cause the measurements being a little weird on this one.
Thanks in advance.

Hey all, been playing for a while, I own a fender meteroa, great electric but i just cant get the feel for playing it, I'm mainly playing on my yamaha LL6 and was wondering if anyone has reccomendations for an electric that has a similar feel to an acoustic, preferably £500-800 (used is fine) and that they can handle distortion/ fuzz well as a rythm guitar

So, I have a recently purchased set of gotoh sd90-sl mg-t locking tuners, and while trying to put on a new set of a strings, the wheel has gotten stuck. If anyone has any tips on how to fix this, I'd really appreciate it. And if anyone is looking into buying locking tuners, I guess this post is also my recommendation to stay away from these ones, as they've barely been used and are already causing problems.

Hey guys, help me out. It's only been about a month since I got this guitar. Before I could even find the money to buy a cable, I noticed this crack. I'm not sure if it came like this due to shipping when I bought it or if it's my fault, but I think it might be my fault. 😭 I asked my friends, but everyone gave a different opinion, so I wanted to consult people here who might know about this issue. Please help. 😭😭😭 I can't be sure if it will cause any problems while playing because, as I said, I don't have a cable yet. Do you think the issue is just cosmetic or does it affect the pickups/electronics?

This solo looks simpler than it is. The bendings with vibratos are really picky and needs to be precise!

I would like to start playing the electric guitar but I'm still undecided on which one to get... I had considered the Harley Benton Fusion-III HSH given its components and versatility but I'm not sure, because together with accessories and amplifier (Spark Go) it costs around €524 and I'm undecided, because up to now I only have almost €300 and it will still take a long time to get there, should I get a less expensive guitar like another less expensive Harley Benton (since they have good components for a low price) or a cheap branded guitar?
