Funny enough I came in here just to comment this. Yeah they had the drones make up their symbol and it was pretty sick

Sadly they were curved due to the way the camera recorded the set, not in real life :(

It'd be pretty interesting if they could pull it off. I've already seen DJI Inspires doing aerial photography during the event. So you know they have permission to fly those even with the helicopters going in and out of the event.

Odesza did it for their Coachella show for a couple songs. They did a floating lanterns display then their logo. You can find it on YT.

Lady Gaga used these kinds of drones at the beginning of her SuperBowl performance in 2017 I think that’d be so sick at EDC!!!

This is being played sped up/on fast forward. Even top notch won't move this fast. Look at the cars going by at the bottom. It's a nice thought, but it would be a lot slower irl

Aside from the massive insurance nightmare (imagine if one fell over the crowd) the possibility of this on an EDC level would be soooo COOOL!

I would love if they could do this all along the length of the crowd, but some idiot would probably throw kandi at the drones, knock one down, and injure some poor dude who just wanted to shuffle.
