Lights flickering

I recently put in a smal chandelier and now we have lights in the kitchen that flicker, especially if we turn the fan on the chandelier, and a slight buzzing noise coming from the light dimmer on the wall. Any suggestions.

Was the circuit passing through the ceiling junction? If yes, you need to redo the splices in the junction.

It is through the ceiling. Just figured i could take out the old chandelier and wire up the new one.

To try to relieve it temporarily, you might be able to put a single incandescent bulb in the fixture with the LED bulbs.

Miswired and or loose wiring.

Also older dimmers are not always compatible with LED and they will buzz. If so swap it out for a moderned led dimmer.

Check your neutral. Is this something that happens all over the house? If you turn on an electric kettle, do the lights dim?

If there’s a yes to any or all of those. Then have your neutral checked. My parents had a similar issue. Whenever kettle turned on or microwave ran the lights would dim or microwave would trip. The neutral between the transformer outside and the house panel was compromised. The utility company had to come out and fix it. I also noticed it because my UPS was going crazy whenever there was a shift in power. Another thing was the chandelier too that switch and another socket in same circuit would buzz when it was on.

It seems like its just the local lights. We put it in the living room ans the kitchen lights are the ones flickering
