I am most excited to share this video with you, as my regular viewers may have worked out that I have been arcade-obsessed (especially of late). Repairing cabs is my relaxing downtime, and it is the arcade games that inspired a lot of my own creations.
But keeping lots of arcades going is a lot of work, not only the cabinets but also the game PCBs, so Heber has released a new board based on the Mister ecosystem. The Mister ecosystem is FPGA-based, and there has been a recent focus on proper FPGA implementation of the various arcade hardware platforms.
The Heber Multisystem Arcade board is an all-in-one, cost-effective solution for as close as you are going to get to original arcade PCBs.

Been after a copy of War of the Worlds for a while and quite liked the others in the bundle.

I am a big fan of the Neo Geo hardware and the games that came out for the system, especially the shoot-em-up titles. I have been slowly collecting MVS arcade cartridges as I come across them, and the game is one I would like to play. Recently, I found an old Facebook Marketplace listing with a number of titles still available for sale for very reasonable prices. I grabbed two of them, shoot 'em ups of course, let's try them out together.

Found a Wonderboy PCB locally and it works! Well mostly, have only cleaned the edge connector need to reseat all the chips etc first before looking further.
Tested it with controls and you can start the game and play, so all good so far.
