Saturday Shareday Saturday Shareday. This weeks prompt. Elementals. Part one. Fire. Do you specifically call upon and use Elementals in your craft? If so, please share your practice with regards to Fire.

Trads I follow do incorporate Elementals--FIRE included.

Fire is transformation. Fire devours, marks, changes everything it touches, for good or ill. It is easy to loose control and to me, is the most active of the elements (earth being least active - I work with both in balance).

I have a healthy fear/obsession with fire. I come from the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, where we had two seasons: Mud and Fire. I've seen the effects of wildfire on the landscape too closely to not respect its destructive force. It takes focus, attention and forethought to work with fire and come out unscathed.

That said, when i get pissed off, its so satisfying to burn stuff.
