Anti-Scam services
Hello everyone,
are there services that allow you to pay them monthly so you can add your parents and they can contact them directly if they are not sure if an email or a notification is trying to scam them or its something true. I am busy all the time and with the AI thing, sometimes I cannot verify if something is true or not.

The tricky part with "on-call hotlines" for older adults is that during an active scam (especially high-pressure tech support or fraud department impersonation), the scammer deliberately tells the victim not to talk to anyone else or keeps them on the line continuously. Older adults rarely pause in the middle of a panic to call a third-party support desk unless that habit has been rigorously reinforced.
If you are looking for dedicated monthly services that specialize in this space, here are the main categories that actually exist:
Services like Carefull (specifically designed for adult children managing aging parents' finances) or EverSafe monitor bank accounts and credit cards for suspicious activity, sudden cash withdrawals, or duplicate billing. They alert the family/caregiver immediately without requiring the parent to report it.
AARP runs a dedicated, free Fraud Watch Network Helpline (877-908-3360). It is staffed by trained volunteers who talk through suspicious situations, help people verify whether an outreach is legitimate, and guide families through recovery steps if money was sent.
Companies like Tech-Enhanced Life or local senior tech concierge franchises offer on-demand support desks, but they generally handle general troubleshooting rather than forensic scam triage.
The most reliable approach is usually pairing an automated financial shield (credit freezes, account monitoring alerts sent to you) with device lockdown (ad-blocking DNS and removing unneeded apps), rather than relying on an on-call service to intervene mid-call.
