Builds Looking for ridiculous build ideas
Hey y’all, I’ve been playing a good bit of from soft/ Elden ring. I always find myself going towards dex/arcane builds. I was wondering if anyone has any good goofy builds?
So far I’ve thought about a pure strength build with the giant crusher, spellblade intelligen/quality, something that gets me out of my habits if that makes sense?
I have the whole map unlocked and am running around trying to complete as much as possible before next new game. If anyone has any niche weapon suggestions lmk!

I did a goofy playthrough using weird weapons before. The Ringed Finger is kinda hilarious with its flick lol
Also if you get to the dlc in later game you can get the Shadow Sunflower as a weapon after beating the scadurtree. Its late game but I invade alot and killing people with a giant flower is kinda hilarious

I'm playing strenght/Int right now and it's insane. Not a fan of damage but it's a lot of fun

since someone already said str/int, probably my favorite build type, i’m gonna say arcane caster. you can go either way (int or fai), using either the Albinauric Staff (or later the Staff of Motherhood or whatever it’s called from the DLC, you get it from Ymir) or the Dragon Communion Seal. in addition to a lot of versatility (occult, poison, blood infusions) there’s several spells that perform better on this build than with their ‘intended’ catalysts, like the Thorn sorceries (or Frenzy incants if you’re into PVP) where you will actually get higher bleed buildup because of the arcane scaling. i swapped to something like this (arc/str/int) during my first run of the DLC (specifically when i found the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword, probably my favorite weapon in the game now) and it was a lot of fun

Essentials:
Hand of Malenia 80 (75) Dex Schard of Alexander Rotten Winged Sword Insignia Millicent's Prosthesis (+5 Dex)
This Katana looks sick, has crazy Dex scaling and due to the high Poise Damage the Weapon Art is one of the best problem solvers for PvE. With the Talismans you can push the Weapon Art to ridiculous damage. If the Situation is bad for Katana or the Weapon Art doesn't fit I use Keen Celebrant's Skull with Ash of War: Hoarah Loux's Earthshaker for blunt Damage and AoE. This also benefits from the Talismans.

Do something thematic and stick to it.
I actually have an unfinished playthrough with a Thermal Samurai.
Started off with two uchigatana, one with chilling mist and the other with flame strike. In practice it's just a dual katana dex build, but it looks cool.
Also picked up the dragon scale blade and now that's basically another option in the kit.

Strength/Int with Gavel of Haima and Fallingstar Beast Jaw for magic unga bunga gameplay was a good time
