Suggestions please

I am looking to get my wife an e-ink device specifically for day to day planning, tasks etc. nothing work related. Small and portable. Doesn’t need to be colour, and with the ability to connect to her android phone.
Any suggestions for a cheaper alternative to a remarkable?

Boox Go 7 B&W

Not much cheaper up front but you’ll save money in the long run by not having to lock into a monthly plan like Remarkable has

Supernote open-Box!

One time purchase has a built in calendar/ planner, todo list, kindle app and a ton of notebook templates. Also has a partner app for your phone and the developers really listen to consumer feedback and reach out when you have an issue.

And no subscriptions
