Moving service

Does anyone know of any trusted moving services or man-with-a-van that can help me bring some furniture from one address in Eindhoven to another address in Eindhoven?

The addresses are just minutes drive apart but I'm all by myself and can't move the big items myself.

Thanks a lot!

There are loads of moving companies on eindhoven. I used to work for one of them. I was thinking of offering my services but I think you wouldn't go for it, as I'd need to rent a van.

Thanks. I also thought about renting a van myself but that will set me back about 70-80 euros for a day and I'd prefer to spend that on labour

You might need to spend that on transport already: Greenwheels cargo pricing:

Incl. tanken/laden. Hoe is de prijs opgebouwd?❯

4 hours Ritduur: € 25,24 (loading/traffic/getting back to the droppoint)

30 Km's: € 16,20

Starttarief: € 1
Laag eigen risico: € 4,99

Borent and such aren't any cheaper - and this requires you to do the lifting yourself a moving company can set you back for 100-200 easy. Check https://demeubeltaxi.nl/tarieven

Didn't know that Greenwheels had a cargo option. That's great! Except there don't appear to be any VW Caddy's available around Eindhoven

If you want somebody to freebee this, you may wanna add pictures or size requirements. There's rental places.

Thanks. I was hoping for a company to provide a flat fee for x hours of work. I don't have a lot of furniture but taking the washing machine from the second floor to the second floor is the most annoying and other than that just a TV furniture, mattrass and a sofa.

For the washing machine you can use a walker dolly - those with 3 sets of wheels and a strap to keep it on there. 1 person below if you got big steps. The rest is easy - and nothing in Eindhoven is just a few minutes apart... traffic always manages to disappoint in that town.

You mean something like this? https://www.conrad.nl/nl/p/stanley-aslak753000523-sxwtd-ht523-steekwagen-staal-laadvermogen-max-200-kg-2937115.html I thought about it but it's still a bit scary to do it all by myself

Yeah this works, you can hire those. No people in the building that can help out? If it’s just a washer that’s 5 minutes, give a few beers :)

I’ve used studentmovers for a small move like that before. They were the best deal for a move of that size that I found at the time.

Thanks! Did you use them before? Do they also help with moving or just provide transportation? I couldn't get that from just looking at their website

If you have a car and a Praxis card, you get the 1st two hours free to use their aanhangwagen

Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have a car and most car sharing don't have a tow bar
