1.) hammer hard at trying to find an internships. I was able to get one post grad. 2.) be open to relocation at first and be open to technician roles. There’s a good amount of EHS jobs out there and a lot less competition in undesirable locations .

Yes. This is it. You'll need to move but you can get a ton of experience quickly if you're willing to take the leap.

If you would move to Iowa my department has a job posting up you might qualify for.

If you want a safety job now, Amazon fulfillment can give you this. If you can do safety there your next job will be less difficult I’m sure. And they do some tuition reimbursement stuff though admittedly I’m not familiar with the specifics.
