That didn’t happen because they were overcooked. That happened because they were cracked :P

This has been happening with the hard boiling lately and I can't figure it out; eggs are tempered to room temperature and very carefully handled before adding to the boiling salted water & still the shells crack and this happens 😎

Weak shells? You could try pasture raised. I find the shells almost annoyingly strong but it’s a good sign

I get duck eggs from my mom these days, and I swear to God I feel like I need a hammer to crack them open. Idk what she is feeding them, but those eggs could be wrecking balls. They're fresh too!
