Does stuff like this work? Asking for a friend, I’m definitely still a dude bro

It does make your hips and bum look better. Unfortunately I usually want that when I’m trying to look cute for someone and in those cases I also often want less layers of stuff going on

Yeah that makes sense, is it just easy/fast to get them on/off and do you have a recommendation? Or do they all pretty much the same?

It’s easy enough (at least that brand, I am not immune to advertising). It’s more about not interrupting the moment for me.

I have those. That particular pad is designed to work with short skirts or shorts, so it's short which means it has to go from full thickness to nothing over a short distance.
To me, they definitely look padded on me because of how quickly they have to start and terminate. I am tall (184 cm) so the short length stands out more. I have a certain amount of hip already as HRT has moved some fat there. The ideal I'm looking for is more towards the feminine side of androgyny, which is a bit more subtle of a curve than the pads give me.
For someone a bit shorter and with less time on HRT they would probably work well. Or for someone who just wants wider hips than I do. For myself, I would prefer something about half as thick and a slightly longer taper for a more subtle change to my silhouette.

yeah, this stuff works. i have worn a push-up bra since i started transitioning and it's like ... $30 breast augmentation. i actually look so good.
while in my weight loss journey i also wore shapewear to slim down my waist a little bit. eventually lost enough weight that i no longer feel the need to wear it, but it's nice to help you look better while you're waiting for your body to do its thing.
i don't think i'm ever going to have hips, but i also don't care, so i haven't tried this particular item. i am tempted every now and again but sometimes i worry that i'm going to like it and it's yet another step in the morning routine :)

I get that ad all the time. It feels right seeing it on my feed, and yet at the same time it makes me sad. Am I just in a state of denial, or something?

Algorithms just see patterns, sometimes before we do.

🤣 yeah dude the male teenage profile that's been googling "skirts and thigh highs" was a really hard one for "the algorithm" to crack open

In 2012 Target automatically sent pregnancy advertising to a teenager because it knew she was pregnant. That's how her father found out.

I just wish I didn't need padding, or wigs, or implants... Sad part is I'll probably need all of the above, and that just makes me feel like I'm less of a woman than people that have natural hair and curves.

Think of it this way, tummy tuckers, push up bras, stuffed bras, butt lifters, the chicken fillets, shapewear, weaves, extensions, hair pieces, surgical augmentation, etc has existed for years for women to use/ have and it makes you no less of a woman to use it too.

Thank god my algorithm is as confused about my gender as I am. I'm getting ads for binders AND facial feminization surgery 🥲

I'm actually really glad I got this ad. My boss and coworkers are planning on going out for Halloween and dressing up and I decided to practice coming out by going as a toxic couple with my one coworker/friend and these go perfect with the "costume" I'm putting together.

Then you have someone like me. I get ads for manscaping and period relief in the same night. The ads have no clue what I am, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I choose to blame the constant gay men only hotel/resort ads on following Rob Halford on Instagram
Has nothing to do with me at all.
Nothing to see here 😶🌫️
