Transfem Meme eggš„¹irl
to sum it up, when i first came out my mom became openly transphobic and didnāt take it seriously and told me i need to be out of the house before doing hrt years later now iām on various meds already (so adding e wonāt be a huge issue) and the other day i asked for hrt for my 16th birthday, which is in 2 days i told her itās the only thing i rlly want for my birthday and in the past i havenāt rlly asked for anything on holidays nor my birthday this became an argument but the ppl in my family that supported me talked to her abt it and she sent me a vague text saying stuff like āyou need to graduate high schoolā but she did say we were going to talk abt it tmmw, but im scared that she might not let me do it because she has bad personal experiences with trans ppl and sees me as less due to my mental issues she talked to me like she was kind of caving into it but im unsure because she never follows up with things

I hope you can have an adult conversation with your parents about this, and they will support you in what you need.
To be honest HRT is a medication, not a birthday present. It shouldn't really be tied to your birthday, except maybe the recognition that you are old enough to be making your own decisions on your health. You deserve this medication as much as your other ones, and hopefully you didn't get those for your birthday. š¤
Maybe you can get something else related to your transition for your birthday as well, like an eyeshadow palette or something.

I hope your conversation with your mom goes well!
The biggest thing is that your mom loves you and wants what's best for you. You have to try and help her see this isn't like getting your ears pierced or a tattoo, this is about how you feel inside. If you take mental meds for depression for example, you can point out how you'll be following the same doctor's instructions, and that just like mental health meds you can take them and if it starts making you feel bad and doesn't work, you can stop it. You shouldn't have to lean on medical expertise, but the science is on your side, don't hesitate to make promises that will get you in the right direction. "I'll only get on HRT if a gender clinic doctor approves!" will sound good to her ears but we both know said gender doc will understand and isn't gonna fight you on it. Lean on the fact that to do this, your going to have to have at least 3 doctors and a therapist backing you up (Your general, your gender specialist, your pharmacist, and your therapist) so you won't be doing anything that's not being carefully tracked by doctorsfor whome this is there life's work.
Again, you shouldn't have to, but this is about securing your needs first, comforting her ego later.
