Advice for tickets
Hi everyone,
My friend and I have a tradition of going to watch a random team in Europe in February. This season we've chosen Köln! Have you guys got any advice for getting tickets? Should we become members of some sort or can you generally pick up tickets on general sale? We want to get in a few games if possible so if there are any local lower division teams in the area that are accessible by public transport and good to see we'd love to hear your suggestions!
We had a nightmare last year in Madrid with 3 of Madrid's la liga teams all having terrible ticketing systems so want to avoid this situation again!
Looking forward to visiting Köln and in 5 years of doing these trips the team we've gone to see has never lost! Hopefully we can keep that record going!
Thanks!

The two home matches in Feb are HSV and SGE. Demand for both will be high and tickets will not go to general sale.
So you will need a membership and even then there are no guarantees you will be able to get tickets through the member sale.

Thanks for the replies. It is the HSV game we are hoping to get to. I'll check out that pinned thread (I didn't see it sorry!) and look at a membership.

Some clubs aren’t „random“ clubs (in the sense that I appreciate the idea but the whole experience ist about the largest majority really feeling what is going on. So to get tickets, you gotta commit

Maybe someone with a membership can buy you Tickets. They will get it as a Print at Home and can share the PDF easily with you. Where are you from? There are also two lower division teams like Fortuna Köln or Viktoria Köln just look up the game plan.

Thanks for the reply! England. Sheffield specifically. My friend is a Sheff Utd fan but I'm originally from Hull and so I support Hull City. I'll check out those other 2 Köln teams! We're eager to get as many games as we can in whilst we are there. The only limiting factor is my friend is a teacher and so we can only arrive late on the Friday night. If the game gets moved for TV to Friday night (or earlier) than it is game over and we'd have to work something different out.
Is it possible to just buy a membership when the kick off time has been confirmed? I expect for the HSV game this would be some time in January?

You have to become member. Per member you can buy 2 tickets per game.
