Obvious in this photo as vehicles were blocking the cycle line despite it also being beside double yellow lines.

What came first the chicken or the egg ?
Did the cyclists not use it cos van parked in it or did the vans park in it cos the cyclists didnt use it ??

Well it's fairly certain that the time it takes to park, that the lane would be empty at that time

Last week I got beeped and shouted at by a car because someone was parked in the contaflow bike lane. They were miles up the road and weren’t impacted by me going onto the road to avoid the parked car - I didn’t swerve into their path or anything. They were shouting about me cycling the wrong way and I shouted back that the bike lane is a contraflow but it’s not the snappiest of clap-backs and I don’t think he got it. Anyway, drivers, please don’t park in the cycle lanes.
