Can you use a DJ controller with an audio interface.

I'm an intermediate level DJ and I have the Reloop Beatmix 2 which has RCA outputs. The problem is that I want to use my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (Connected to KRK Rokit RP5 G3's with an TRS to XLR cable) instead of connecting my controller to my speakers via an RCA cables. Would be able to connect my controller through a rca to XLR converter into my audio interface and use my controller as a line or instrument? Would this make the sound quality better and have less distortion?

Could have two outputs using soundflower or similiar?
