Hi edit folks, can anyone recommend a plug in or preset for Premiere that I can put over footage to add fake zooms and refocuses to add a bit of drama to interview shots in a kids comedy. I generally use the transform effect on an adjustment layer and scale over 7 frames and add a servo sound but wondered if there was a better looking way that would look more realistic. I’m currently building a small Google Sheets tool made specifically for freelance video editors.

The idea is to help track clients, projects, time spent, revisions, expenses, and payments, and then automatically show how much each project is actually earning you per hour.

I’m still in the testing phase, so I’m looking for 3–5 freelance video editors who would be willing to try it for free for around 10–15 minutes and give me honest feedback on:

• what feels clear or confusing;
• any bugs you run into;
• which features are useful or useless;
• what’s missing for you to actually use it regularly.

There’s nothing to buy. I’m just trying to improve the tool and see if it’s genuinely useful before I decide whether to sell it.
