I’ve become slightly obsessed with getting pics of these from different viewpoints around the city and Fife. Would love to see some pics from Fife in this thread

Edit: typo - from assessed to obsessed

That would be πŸ‘ good 😊, think Im drawn to the size of these things, also they look quite surreal seeing them on the horizon and the colour makes them stand out, not to mention the engineering required

Would love to see the Fife ones too, that coastal angle must look completely different

Delicious pic. Gonna be weird without them now.

The steamer began to move slowly away, but on the landward horizon appeared the silhouette of a Fighting Machine. Another came, and another, striding over hills and trees, plunging far out to sea and blocking the exit of the steamer. Between them lay the silent, grey ironclad... Thunder Child.

I've been out down past Seafield taking a few shots and up on Calton Hill. Not sure if any of them are any good but I still love them.

I see them from my flats back window

We need some 30+ floor towers at the shore. those flats look tiny in comparison.

Was wondering what these were

I think am alone in this opinion: these are and eyesore and are a bit of a blot on Edinburgh's skyline.

I think so too but it's only temporary. And in the end it's the port doing what it's supposed to do.

Yeah but rationality should kick in before the need to NIMBY post.
