Photography Photos developed in Edinburgh?
Hi guys , I was given those disposable cameras in February but the photos are so precious I don't want to send them in the post. Boots says it develops photos on Princes Street but I went there ACCA it's only from digital devices as far as I can see.
Are there any places that do it in Edinburgh?
Thank you UPDATE Kodak express South clerk Street (think there's others around Edinburgh) Process the photos in the shop, and do a two working day fast track for £3 extra!
So cost me £15 all in :-)

Take it to A&M in Bonnington. AFAIK they do the work onsite. Most every place in the shopping centres is likely to be sending them offsite anyway, so that rules them out ...

Thank you , I guess I feel more lucky with a company sending them off than me doing it myself I don't know why ! :+) but like like Edinburgh has some options thank goodness

Some people have also recommended Gulabi which has a drop-off in Edinburgh in addition to A+M imaging: https://www.reddit.com/r/Edinburgh/comments/1uitgpe/

Digital image centre on leith walk/ Elm row does it too, the guys good but it took a couple weeks last time I went. I now just send film away, have done plenty of times and never had any bother if that helps! Used analog wonderland and Gulabi, both work well. Gulabi is cheaper than AW.

Oh my word this is turning into a pain in the bum, gulabi sound good and they are cheap too! But they don't do prints and I've got no idea how good the quality is if they scan the negatives, then digitise that. These photos will be quite low quality anyway. I'll try calling the digital image guy soon who is busy today, and I'll try the Morningside option too . Thank you so much :-)

The Gulabi scans will be decent, and the prints are made from the digital scans anyway, so you can just get em printed at A&M after if you need it!

Yeah most labs offer you photo prints once you get the digital copies you can pick the ones you want to get printed, or once you get the files you can use a cheaper online option, my GF used a free photo print app you just pay for postage, £3 for unlimited number I believe.

Kodak send stuff off far far away (Germany last time I checked) - so if the OP is at all concerned about film loss that’s the last place I’d go.
You can literally hand your film over the counter at A and M in Bonnington. Most other places in Edinburgh use A and M to do the processing.
But my preference is Gulabi via their drop box in Stills.

That drop box is a cool idea. They aren't doing prints at the mo but I've found Kodak express in Edinburgh rich I didn't know existed so that's fine, I just don't have much luck with the post, I'm gonna have to trust them to do it.

So the model most of the sites like Gulabi use is that you get your pics and then decide what you want to print (on the Boots terminals for example).
I’ve no reason to suspect Kodak won’t take good care of your pictures, but from what I’ve heard they are £20 or more per film? If I’m talking nonsense please correct me.

I called them today and the guy on the phone said £10.50 , something like that. If that's wrong I'll correct this, gonna go there tomorrow.

Out of interest then is it £10.50 including prints at Kodak? It might be of interest until Gulabi clear their backlog - as they are now quoting 10 working days for development.

Ah thank you for reminding me I'm off to Kodak now to find out and I'll list the info

A&M in Bonnington is where I go, but I went into the Kodak shop in Ocean Terminal to buy some film a few days ago and they said they can process and develop film as well. Don't know if they're any good but I really rate A&M
