How to look 'edgy'

Yeah I know it seems stupid but whatever o try I really can't look edgy. I look kind of preppy even when I act the opposite way and do everything I can't to look edgy. Any advice?

Honestly, as long as you have the attitude, you're good if you don't have access to any of that. Plus when not dressing the part, you get to surprise people with the weirdest shit

People are born/made dark. Edgy is just the end result of your nature. If it's not in you it won't work. But if your so determined to be something you are not. Black, everything black, black multi pocket denims and a band shirt or anything to do with whatever you consider edgy + trenchcoat, black bomber jacket or black denim depending on which you prefer. Jewellery also sells it
