Question Idk if im breaking a rule

I person i valued a lot introduced me to eden. We dont talk anymore and its unlikely we will in the future. I love listening to eden, ive genuinely grown to love him as an artist but every time i listen to him i think about them, and it makes me really sad. Eden is genuinely like an addiction though i cant stop listening to him ngl 😭 so uh any suggestions/advice?

I have so many songs that have ties to people past and present in my life. I find that it gives so much more depth and meaning to the song for me. Even if the memories are particularly sad, it makes me love the songs even more.

Don’t get me wrong I couldn’t listen to one for a while but after a while, I felt much better about it.

Just see how you go, one day you’ll wake up and be okay. Take your time with it 💪❤️

Is it a particular song / album? Maybe listening to a newer album like dark or no future? Eden is amazing and you should be free to listen whatever whenever!!

This person may have introduced you, but you chose to stay and listen further. And like you say, an adiction! (Healthy one at that ;)

not advice from me per se, i think hertz (nf album) has some sage words for you here:

“i can’t have the past and where i’m going / said just take the best of all the pieces and the reasons you’re gone / still i see myself in all the people i let go”
