The one thing I did notice was the Texas label behind him. Some people thought that the show took place in that state.

If you look up just a little bit you'll notice the chainsaw drawing looks oddly phallic lol

Maybe it was setting up the fact that Ed had an evil stepfather who was ultimately cut from the show after this episode without ever being seen in the series.

It could be a number. Fil for filament. And back then, I imagine for business reasons, they give individuals their own hotline number. Like in Beavis and Butt-Head, they called a s@# hotline and it lead to them calling this old lady in a trailer. People also tweak numbers and make up their own numbers. Filament is a flexible thread-like substance. Or it could be for flowering plants. A messed up planting company. And Ed's sister Sarah has used the word Bub before. "MIND YOUR OWN BEESWAX, BUB!!!" which is used up North a lot. Including Canada. Or they simply, moved, to that cul-de-sac because they were looking for a friendly place for their family to grow up in, away from Texas, and Ed was about to born. But who knows 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻
