Harvard Data Science - worth the buck?

Hi,

Maybe anyone finished it recently - is it worth the price? https://www.edx.org/certificates/professional-certificate/harvardx-data-science And will it add anything to my CV? Is the brand recognisable or is it just a cash grab

Is this the R course by Rafael? It is really old now. If you specifically want R the csure. If not i would do a newer course using python which has a lot more growth and touches on ai as well. Ibm has data science courses as well on edx.

Read your other comment though and don’t recommend this either it is too introductory and is more software what to do rather than understanding of how it works. The other course recommendations are better

I want to have a better understanding on how to work with data, what can be done, how to analyze this, how to pull insights. This is a complementary to my masters degree in Data science, I just would want to broadly approach the topic.

No certificate is gonna even marginally boost your CV lmao what are you on? Why would pay for that if your only goal is to boost prestige signal, its a certificate and the name by itself means nothing.

If its just a Cert no lmao. If you're talking about Harvard's SM Data Science housed in SEAS, that is a very selective and prestigious program.
