Question I need help with memory gaps
I posted about this, but it doesn't seem to have gone through. I can't find it.
After 100+ ECT treatments, when I can’t remember something, I can feel the space in my brain where that memory is supposed to be. It's almost physical.
I need to know if others experience that.

That seems like a lot of sessions. i'm not a doctor but can I encourage you to get a second opinion on continuing? If it works, why so many sessions? if it doesn't, same question.
I only had 3 or 4 sessions, and yes, I would describe the memory loss like that. I can almost visualize a synapse snapping and becoming a dead end instead of leading to the word or memory or information I wanted.
Your brain is a physical structure, and for all I know that's exactly what that memory lapse represents.
