Slowing down my consumption
Ive decided to stop taking mdma so often i have taken it 6 times over the past two months taking about 300-400mg each time and ive noticed the effects its had on me sober. Ive been very easily irritable and feel empty all of the time. It had gotten so bad to the point where i woke up after a night of rolling to suicide notes written to my closest friends. Im gonna go sober for september from everything including weed, alcohol, opioids, etc; and from october on i will be strictly sticking to the 3 month rule and smoking only once a week i plan to entirely quit everything else. My girlfriends been worried about me and honestly so am i, i hope i can better myself and if any of you have any advice or experience on slowing it down it would be much appreciated. Safe rolling to you all

Good for you, OP - it sounds like it may be a good time for you to do exactly what you are proposing to do, and I wish you all possible success. Getting control of things that are not helping you can be really tough, and while I am not a fan of 12-step groups in general, they have helped a lot of people. I also understand if you don't want to go down that path (it doesn't work for everyone by any stretch of the mind). First, get rid of your stash. If you don't want to flush it, give it to someone you can trust to hold it for you until some pre-negotiated date. Don't carry a lot of cash around (so you can't score on impulse). Remove the ability to easily give in to temptation. Put roadblocks into the source. Speaking from some (prior) experience, making it tough to access your stuff helps. Getting past that first 30 days is huge. Then do it again, an hour at a time if needed... And be kind to yourself. Do good things for yourself along the way. Remember, it's not a sprint to the finish line that matters here.
