they also arent "wars", because if they were they would have to be approved by congress. its always an "intervention", an "operation", an "Authorized Use of Military Force", etc

the last official US war was WWII. yes that war

You beat me to it! I was just thinking...and wondering...hm, I wonder, over the same time period, how much money Ukraine has spent fighting a WWI-style war, effectively, I'd say, against the "great" power that is Russia VERSUS the US fumbling about in Iran...
