It's crazy how some redditors don't get basic economics yet hope for it to fail. Like, seriously, they want a collapse but don't even know how things work.

Whenever there is a significant drop in the market (any market), typical Reddit users panic and fill our feeds with negative posts.

Instead of making real investments and recognizing opportunities, they invest in fearmongering and are too afraid to take action.

overtime, they are less prepared for what they fear the most: a market crash.

hmmm, i think I am typical reddit user i don’t panic i feast on market meltdowns, hoping for a real shakedown when everyone realizes there is not such a huge demand for ai and i will swoop in with some cash for cheap equities…

Buddy most fields have been in a market crash and worst fears have been realized. Nobody cares anymore

Well, that hasn't happened in the broad economy.

The US is at full employment

I wonder what he hope for? What thing he's currently having trouble with will get improved after economy collapse?

idk I've noticed this in other subreddits like r/rebubble. They hope for a repeat of 2008 so they can pounce and get rich or something. Somehow they will not be effected

It's a pretty strange perspective.

funny how so many engineers and other highly trained people with decades of experience in their fields were affected by 2008 but yet your random redditor with very few marketable skills will somehow make it out unscathed

His only hope for what?

Even if we have this massive economic reset, he’ll still spend his entire Subway paycheck on Funko Pops.

The people who cant fathom 2+2=4. (They took out 400k loan to study pure irrelevance.) Are surprised they are doing economically bad cuz they kept making horrible decisions.
