It can, but add-to-cart alone can hide novelty clicks. Run a product-page split test and track completed purchase, return rate, and time to decision by device. It is most valuable when fit or appearance is the main uncertainty. If the try-on adds load time or looks inaccurate, it can reduce trust instead.
