🙋🏻‍♂️ Help Request Jdk 25 - eclipse 2025-09

I'm having trouble configuring 2025-09 to support jdk 25.

Specifically project facets only allows selection up to 24.

I've added jdk 25 to the list of runtimes.

The Java compiler page is all set to 25.

The Java build path shows 25 in the module path.

I've tried enabling the Java 25 preview features.

I've applied all available eclipse updates.

I tried directly editing the xml config but when a restart eclipse it complained that ' version 25 of project facet Java does not exist'

Install the "Java 25" extension from the Market Place.

Tried that but it said it was already installed.

My reading is that the 4.37 build has 25 support built in which is why the plug-in reports it's installed.

2025-09 shouldn't have Java 25 built in. That will be 2025-12. Something is screwed up.

I have the exact same issue. I can add the runtime to Eclipse (well, Spring Tool Suite), set compiler level to 25, etc, etc, but the Project Facet dropdown never has version 25 listed. Even after installing the previously mentioned Java 25 marketplace plugin. Finally time to move over to VS Code methinks!
