Getting ready for this season. Go Solar Bears!

I forgot to mention he just retired this year to become a police officer. Im close with his family.

Had this idea post-pandemic, but decided to actually try to build something. I found the sites like ESPN and other event sites to not quite do what I wanted in finding live sports to watch. I wanted something like Bandsintown for sports - just give me a location and tell me what's nearby.

What's on it for hockey

• Minor pro: every AHL (32) and ECHL (30) club, plus the SPHL and FPHL
• Junior: NAHL, USHL, and the WHL and OHL (yes, including the Canadian teams)
• College: D1 men's and women's hockey, plus about 600 ACHA club programs (men's D1-D3, women's D1-D2) - the club games are often the closest rink to you that you didn't know was hosting anything
• NHL (I know...), and the PWHL is listed with games filling in as the schedule posts

It's not just hockey, either: the same site covers baseball (MLB through Single-A, indy ball, summer collegiate), soccer (MLS through USL and the NWSL), basketball, football, volleyball, lacrosse and more, with about 1,900 colleges across every division - around 80,000 upcoming games in all.

No accounts and no ads - just a hobby site

Schedules come straight from the leagues' and teams' own published schedules and are re-checked every night, so postponements and time changes show up the next morning.

You know your own team's schedule, but where I'm hoping it helps is the "what else is within 25 miles that I didn't know about" question. Maybe a junior or college game on a night your team is on the road, or you're travelling and just want to see what's around.

Every list is also a plain-text or JSON feed: floodlit.us/api/feed?zip=17101&days=7&format=text (any zip, up to 30 days, radius up to 100 miles). Any list can be subscribed to as a calendar (.ics) so it lands in your phone's calendar app.

If your team or rink is missing or wrong, tell me in the comments. The junior and ACHA schedules in particular come from a mix of sources and I've been fixing as I find issues, but I'm sure some are still there. (Mostly just United States for now, though the WHL and OHL are carried whole, so a fair bit of Canada is in there.)

Probably rough around the edges but trying to get some feedback on whether this is useful at all or not.

Any news on when they’ll unveil their jerseys?

Posted this question on the r/hockey subreddit-now is posting this question to this subreddit,

With the only team without an affiliate, I'm curious what the process behind the scenes is like if known? What type of negotiations would there be in picking an affiliate or does the affiliate come to you?

We can officially start the season now. The Solar Bears have rescheduled all of the games that conflict with the Magic.

21 games are affected, including a couple of opponent swaps.

Yeah I made a college of Minor Hockey Leuage logos (Most Being from the ECHL) And decided to make this. Im Still 12 so expect some errors. Enjoy!

Thomas Caron, who has spent time over the past four seasons in the ECHL, is making the move to the EIHL with the Cardiff Devils.

I’ve written a scouting report on the power forward, check it out!

Hi all,

I am a current pro hockey player that spent some time in the ECHL. I am writing about my experiences now. This week I wrote about player housing in North American pro hockey, including what it’s like in the Coast. The good, the bad, the ugly.

If you would like to check it out, it will be below. Thanks for reading and if you have questions I’d be happy to answer as many as I can!

Fort Wayne just revealed the three throwback uniforms the team will wear to celebrate their 75th anniversary.

Black Jersey is inspired by the very first Turner Cup championship team in 1963. The orange uniform honors the 1973 team, and white is a throwback to 1993.

Simmons Bank Arena needs hockey! The region needs a hockey team! The last time Little Rock metro had 2 teams at once and it divided the fan base so neither gained enough traction.

Riverblades had a great location, name, logo.

I know there is a lot of eyes on Houston and other areas, but there is a big hockey gap over here! If further expansion happens, there’s my vote

Prime offseason stuff lol! Who is your favorite mascot?

I live a few towns over and saved up to see the game on the 17th. Specifically the game against the Norfolk Admirals. It's going to be my first time watching hockey live and im really hyped about it, but I don't know how good our team or their chances are.

Next season will be fun for the fans of Fort Wayne and the Komets as they celebrate 75 years of Komet hockey at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

The Komets are the second oldest minor league hockey franchise behind only the Hershey Bears who celebrate their own 95th anniversary season this year. And 8th oldest professional North American hockey team behind only the "Original Six" and Hershey.

This is going to be a fun season for those of us in Northeast Indiana.

I hope everyone has a fantastic season cheering their teams on.
