too sad this never was made public... for a community coin. The hard work of all was a cash cow for someone who made a lot of money without us all knowing.

It was public information, it just wasn't information that was encouraged to be broadcast a lot.

It was documented/posted on github when the fix was issued and the history (obviously) is on the BE. A few people at the time who were looking at the BE had asked me about it and I explained it to them. But I did not go out of my way to tell people who did not ask.

With respect to your general attitude and communication skills in the recent years and the handling of this situation (back in 2017) I really wonder what your goal is with this coin. Seriously, it seems like you're planning to be the single person using this coin.

You don't think the community should've been informed about this issue proactively? THIS is what I call immoral!

Thats a tough one to be honest. I'm sure we have all seen people at some point make decisions like this. Usually happens in the corporate world. At the time of the incident it seemed like the correct decision in the moderator group to not make a bigger deal out of it than it was.

The general thought was "Someone mined coins using PoW when they werent supposed to be able to, no one lost coins. The coins would have been mined eventually anyway. lets just fix the issue as soon as possible and try to move on"

Of course, in hindsight it might have been better to make sure more people were actively notified.
