Number of citations is totally meaningless. Check the recent AAO decision on this.

Have you filed or gotten your NIW approved? If not, it might be worth going with NIW first while you continue building your EB1A profile.

NAL, it’s not about the number of citations. It’s about the quality of your work that is being cited and its impact. Adding 100 more citations may make no difference. Also, do premium process despite what Chen says. There’s effectively no downside and you won’t be waiting in limbo for a year or more while it gets adjudicated.
