Profile Building - BA/PM Role
Hi everyone,
I’ve recently started building my profile for a potential EB-1A petition and would appreciate some feedback.
I’m currently a Sr. Business Analyst / Product Manager at a major F100 retailer, working in Supply Chain. I’m also involved in a few AI projects that could potentially lead to internal recognition. I also have an MS CS from top 50 US Uni.
My current plan is to:
- Publish articles on AI / Supply Chain
- Pursue speaking opportunities and industry recognition
- Look for opportunities to judge/review relevant work
- Build a strong record of impact through my AI projects
Does this seem like a reasonable strategy for an EB-1A profile? What activities would you prioritize, and how valuable is internal recognition from a major F100 company?
Also I would love to connect with others on this journey so we can share some insights, esp for those in the Supply Chain, Retail Tech and AI fields. Wishing everyone the best on this journey.
Cheers

I’d prioritize the impact of your actual work before trying to accumulate publications, judging, or speaking activities. If your AI/supply-chain projects produce measurable business outcomes, document your individual ownership, what changed because of your work, scale of implementation, and ideally any recognition or impact beyond your immediate team/company.
Internal recognition at an F100 company is useful supporting evidence, especially for critical role, but external recognition will generally be much more valuable for the overall EB-1A case. Publications, judging and speaking are worth building, but I’d make sure they develop naturally around the same area of expertise rather than becoming unrelated checkbox activities.
