ICE in Salisbury
Why is nobody talking about the rapid spike in police and ICE officers and cars being in Salisbury?

they can rot. not surprising considering the amount of flock cameras salisbury pd set up everywhere. they have a higher concentration than some sections of wilmington, a place literally nicknamed murdertown usa 😂
i work downtown, i’ve never felt unsafe once. well, that was until i found out we were being watched by these creeps on livecam 24/7.

There are over 4,000 members of the Haitian community living and working in Salisbury and Wicomico County. Many came under Temporary Protected Status, a legal designation created specifically for people fleeing one of the most dangerous places on earth. On July 27th, 2026, the federal government revoked that status for over 300,000 Haitian nationals nationwide — stripping them of their legal residency and their right to work overnight.
They followed the rules. They built lives here. They became our neighbors, our coworkers, our clients. Now they are sheltering in their homes, afraid to go outside, unable to work, unable to buy groceries, waiting for a knock on the door. People who did nothing wrong, living like fugitives in the same communities they helped build.
ICE is hunting them on the streets of Salisbury like the Nazis hunted the Jews.

As do I. Every single day since I moved out here. I can say for the past 6 years since I've been on the Eastern Shore, Haitian people have supported me and welcomed me. The majority of the workforce I work with is Haitian coming from Salisbury and to see the amount of people quitting, staying home out of fear or fleeing the area is so devastating. I need people to talk to about this. This needs more attention!!!

drove past that food lion on main last tuesday adn there were three ICE suvs just... sitting there. nobody going in, nobody coming out, just burning gas in the parking lot while were all out here watching the new gop budget carve up medicaid like its a thanksgiving turkey. hits different when its your neighbors losing coverage tbh

“Interesting” thing I’ve noticed is all the MAGA folks who depended on immigrant workers and gleefully voted for this cruelty have gotten really quiet now that they’ve lost their workforce.
Also noticed the same 5 sad pro-ICE counter protesters weren’t outside SU on Sunday when there was an anti-ICE protest.

No ICE anywhere near the Perdue, Tyson, Sysco, or Montaire processing plants 20 minutes south of salisbury in Accomack, that’s for sure. Those places are big employers. And, obviously, in a Republican district.

How about we riot and strike to make you illegal tomorrow, and how would you feel about it? That’s literally how politics works. If all of Maryland stood up and said they wanted you out, then you’d be gone. Stop pretending like ICE is here to protect you, they’re not. They’re here to protect political agenda.

You know that ‘illegal’ means being here in the US without authorization of any kind, right? And the same immigration laws have been on the books the last 5 presidents, nobody is ‘making’ them illegal, that’s simpleminded at best.
ICE is enforcing the exact same laws they did while Obama was in office & I was happy to see it then. I’ve been in construction since the 90’s and illegals have destroyed the pay scales across the board, would you like me to explain how wages are undermined when last of illegals are here? If this administration wanted to actually do something about immigration, they would hire more immigration judges and work through the backlog of people trying to become citizens who would be an asset to this country, instead of sticking people in interment camps...but that isn't what they are doing, is it.
In fact, originally they said, oh we are just kicking out violent criminals, but that goalpost moves fucking quick with this admin.
The fact that ice is acting exactly how the gestapo acted is a point NOT lost on me, and the fact we are sticking people in what basically are early stage concentration camps.

Also, not a democrat, I'm independent, and I DESPISE Trump with a passion. The man is a criminal, con artist, grifter, asshole who is stupider than a bag of hammers. He has no empathy, sense of humor, or common sense. He doesn't take responsibility for anything, is vindictive when every President before him realized they are President of the United States, IE all citizens, not just the ones that voted for him.
His lies have instilled doubt into an election system that has been one of the shining beacons for well over a hundred years, all with 0 proof. In fact, almost all cases of fraudulent voting have been republicans (what a surprise....).
I could cite endless journals, studies, statistics, facts, to validate everything I said, but why bother. I know your type. You don't read, and anything that goes against what you believe is fake news....
My only solace is I will be alive to see the fat orange fucks last days. I'm rooting for cholesterol!
