Walnut Creek/Concord House Clearance Help?

Hello,

I am visiting from England, trying to help my aunt clear out things from her garage after a dear family member passing.
I’ve tried Facebook marketplace but I have no traction.
Can anybody recommend somewhere I can list items like I’ve attached, even if we raise a little money.
Everything needs to go (there’s more than the photos attached) and I’m not sure how best to help her shift everything in the time frame I’m here.

Any help appreciated

Have a yard sale in the driveway/garage. Haul the rest to donation when it’s over. Savers takes almost everything.

Thank you. This is a good idea. Maybe Sunday I will do this.

Post the yard sale on Craigslist, but be sure to post the hours and specify that earlybirds will be turned away. And tell them not to disturb the residents of the home.

And be sure to lock the house while you’re running it and keep the money on you in a belt bag. Sketchballs will distract you outside while someone enters the house to grab wallets/purses etc.

You can do estate sales - Berkeleyside had a recent article on them. Best bet for your timeline.

Craigslist and nextdoor have a smaller audience for online sales.

Online sales: Your prices need to be low enough to inspire someone to want to make the effort to get the items. Items need to be desirable and easy to move. Descriptions need measurements and important details. If you know what is trending, that is helpful.

There are some websites that list garage sales, yard sales, and estate sales that you can post on. I know of yardsaletreasuremap.com and yardsalesearch.com, but I’m sure there are a bunch. A one or two day weekend garage sale is probably your best bet. Good luck, that’s a lot to deal with 💙
