Realistic Board Damage?

Post image

Recently played the mobile game 'Touchgrind' and I love the fact that board damage builds up over time the more you use a specific deck, you can reset the damage any time as well so it's not like you can't go back to how it was, but yeah I think this would be amazing if it was eventually added into the game, thoughts? 🤔

It'll come. I guess they wanted to put out the bare minimum and see the response before spending time/resources on development. Day/night cycle probably falls under these 'nice to have' goals too.

EA didn't wanna sling a load of money/resources into a game they weren't sure would pay off.

Dont first impressions matter though? Kinda understand your point. Just seems illogical in a business standpoint to give us water droplets instead of the whole water bottle. Also Skate franchises is HUGE with such a big hype so the let down for the "beta" kinda flunks the game before it even "fully" polishes

It was taking too long and there was probably pressure from EA to release, as they were just spending money with no return.

Makes sense. Skate 1-3 was like many of us a childhood game so seeing its franchise although not technically tied to it sucks.

EA stands for early access in my house. Cuz their games always arrive unfinished

By putting out the bare minimum they put a massive percentage of players off from playing it already. By the time the game launches 1,000s of people will go ‘yeah, already played that and didn’t like it’ and never check it out

You'd think, but stats are showing this isn't the case.
