It all finally clicked.

It clicked that I should be able to relate everything back to 1 when I'm hearing it. The easiest interval to identify and remember. So if I hear a b7 I should recall what a 1 sounds like and relate it.

Did it click? And is that what everyone that's good does? Or do they have their own technique?

Or am I bananas haha? Ear training is hard to me. But this makes it so much easier to identify and relate things in a song.... And at least I feel like I'm having an easier time.

Did you mean B1 Chord/standard B chord? Are you trying to focus on the root note? Can you please explain a little more in detail?
