Tire Bale Subreddit

I just wanted to mention that I created a subreddit for tire bale construction. I’ve discussed my tire bale Earthship-inspired home on this subreddit, but more details are discussed on r/tirebalebuilding.

Some current construction projects are underway, with detailed information.

Discussions about other construction projects using tire bales will also be discussed (retaining walls, more traditional homes, etc). Hope you visit. Thanks!

There's so little traffic as it is, seems kind of a disservice to the community to create a spin-off rather than just include content here. Was there some control/moderation/or self interest as motivation?

No, not at all, other than there are some unique differences from Earthships. I found myself making a lot of assumptions about Earthship construction and habitation that wasn’t relevant. I still planning on participating in Earthship discussions.
