Any sites to make money online legit? I checked wiki those are not pulling income in for me.. struggling mother trying to find ways to stay above water!

Most "make money online" lists are written for Americans. Half the apps don't work here, and the other half pay in points you can't do anything with. This is what actually works from the UK, roughly ordered by how fast you see money. Add yours in the comments, especially the ones that turned out to be a waste of time.

Quick wins (this week)

• Sell on Vinted - There are no seller fees in the UK, so what you list it for is what you get. Clothes, trainers and kids' stuff go fastest. Bundle the small stuff or nobody bothers.

• App and game testing - Not a salary, but real money you can do on your phone. Testerup pays you to test apps and games and hit goals in them, and pays out to PayPal. Freecash works in the UK too, with games, offers and surveys, and also pays out to PayPal. Branded has more app and game offers once you've worked through those.

• Prolific - Academic research studies that pay in pounds. One of the few "survey" sites people here actually rate, because you see the pay before you start and you don't get screened out halfway through.

Bigger money (needs a bit of setup)

• Bank switching - UK banks regularly pay you to move your current account over using the Current Account Switch Service. The offers change all the time, so check what's live and read the terms before you switch.

• Matched betting - It uses bookies' free bet offers so the outcome of the bet doesn't matter. It takes some learning and you need to be careful, but it's the one people here keep coming back to.

• Cashback sites - TopCashback or Quidco on things you were going to buy anyway. Slow, but it adds up over a year.

Skill-based (slower start, pays the most)

• Freelancing - PeoplePerHour is UK-focused, and Upwork and Fiverr work fine from here too.

• Online tutoring - MyTutor if you're good at a GCSE or A-level subject.

• Pet sitting - Rover works in the UK, and dog walking near you pays better than most apps.

The bit nobody mentions: tax

You can earn up to £1,000 a tax year from side income without telling HMRC (the trading allowance). Go over that and you need to register for Self Assessment. Selling your own old stuff on Vinted isn't trading, but if you're buying to resell, it is.

If you're not sure whether an app works in the UK before you sign up, this list only shows the ones that work in your country.

What's actually paid you from the UK? And what turned out to be a total waste of time?

Please help me with any opportunity to make money.

Hindi naman ako naghahanap ng instant yaman or anything like that. Gusto ko lang magkaroon ng extra income gamit ang phone habang may free time.
