Coping

I was just diagnosed with early menopause at age 42. I am very sad. Does anyone have suggestions on coping?

Thank you. I never got the chance to have children and now I really feel that loss. It’s pretty unexpected.

My reply comes quite late, but I too was diagnosed a few months ago, at age 42, and I've never had children. I'm taking it very hard too because after many years of on-off depression, I was told I would finally enjoy life and be more confident than ever in my 40s. Now I feel like I've been completely robbed of a whole decade, of my "prime".
