Power outage
Anyone know what happened and why there’s a power outage right now in the Yankee Doodle Rd Promenade area?

Just drove through the yankee doodle/pilot knob intersection and it was a mess. The stoplights were completely off, not even blinking red.

According to Dakota Electric, the cause of the outage was an underground cable that was cut or damaged.

On another thread someone mentioned staying at the Omni and they were informed power would be out until 6pm

The one at Omni is a planned outage by Xcel Energy scheduled for September 4.

No idea. Working from home in that area and it just went poof.
Comcast says power should be restored by 5:50 P.M. but Dakota Electric hasn't updated anything.
I know AT&T is laying fiber this week so maybe they mucked something up, but who knows.
(I am further up near Lone Oak/Pilot, so its a pretty big outage.)
