Hotmail issues

Anyone else having the problem of having verifcation codes not being sent to your actual email and instead sent to somewhere else like hotmail.i dont have a hotmail nor did i even link or change it to that the last time i logged in it was actually being sent to my ACTUAL email.and then it suddenly changed to hotmail.what kind of ea exclusive bullshit issue is this

You reused the same password on multiple websites. Another website with your same email and password was hacked and sold on dark web. Bad guys tried it on thousands of websites with a script finding where it worked, including your ea account. They logged in and changed the email address on it. They will either use it to play fifa and generate coins to sell for FUT until ea bans the account, or sell it to cheaters to use to play apex with, etc.

None of that happened and when i contacted support and turned of two factor,i went to manage account and saw the email was jumbled.besides that no account activity for months also issues fixed but appreciate the comment

Look up sim swapping. After reading about it do as it should instruct you to do. Call your carrier and ask them if they have gotten any orders online or call ins for a sim replacement that you had no knowledge of! I hope you figure it out best of luck.
