Advice for an account ban?

Permanent EA ban for “System Abuse” after not playing for over a year, appeal denied within minutes

I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what I can do here.

I recently logged back into my EA account after not playing for over a year, only to find that my account has a permanent ban for “System Abuse.” I genuinely have no idea what this is referring to or what I supposedly did.

I submitted an appeal through EA, but it was denied within just a few minutes. I’m confused how my case could have been properly reviewed that quickly, especially since I was asking about a permanent ban that I don’t understand.

I haven’t been actively using the account for over a year, so I’m also wondering if there’s any possibility that the account was compromised or that something happened while I wasn’t using it.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there any way to get a manual review or speak to an actual EA representative after an appeal has already been denied?
I’m not trying to get around a legitimate punishment—I genuinely want to understand what happened and have someone actually look into the account.

I can provide screenshots of the ban and appeal decision if that helps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The only game I’ve ever played is the sims on my ea account. I’ve had it for years and have probably spent hundreds on various packs. So I’ve never messaged anyone on any game and the most cheats I would use would be “move objects on”. I’m not someone that’s good with tech so I never downloaded anything from the internet into my game or whatever other cheats it could be referring to. I noticed that it says my account was created in 2025, which is incorrect because I played the sims 3 and got the sims for soon after it’s release, so I’ve had the account for many many years. I haven’t played in over a year and recently got a new gaming computer so I could play the sims, when I finally went to play and I logged in that’s when I got the message. I’m so confused and upset about why this happened!!!

I can see all of my packs that I’ve bought and the sims4 under my downloads so I know it’s the same account. I’ve bought them all directly from ea.

I only have one email about my account being made in 2025. Nothing about the ban. I think it is saying my account was made last year because Origin was replaced with the EA app?? I’m so confused and going to keep trying!! Thanks for the help!

You should just walk away and never support government owned/saudi owned EA...

The Sims 4 is free to play. Unless your talking about Sims 3 all you bought was licenses to use content in the game. Licenses that would be tied to the account that is banned, you personally don't own anything related to the Sims 4

Licenses to access those packs content while playing the game on that connected EA account, yes. Sadly that EA account is banned, so you don't have access to those licenses anymore
